Primary Job Duties:
Experience administering Web servers (Apache, IIS) and Application servers (Tomcat, ColdFusion) in large enterprise environment.
Analyze performance and resource utilization, and implement appropriate tuning for the web servers, application servers and JVMs in an enterprise environment with a variety of distinct systems and services.

Role Overview:
The Senior Consultant is responsible for the providing technical and general support for enterprise life cycle management processes for a large government project. This position will report to TISTA’s overall PM who is managing the prime contract with the Government Agency. The Senior Consultant’s role is to achievement of the assigned objectives and delivering quality deliverables in support of the overall project goals. The Senior Consultant has to conduct technical due diligence on project documentation and other artifacts and provide advice and counsel to the project manager as needed. The Senior Consultant is also expected to be an engaged member of the project team providing project support, help manage risks/issues and act as a mentor and guide junior members of the project team.
Role Responsibilities:
Take lead in the area of technical consultation including but not limited to enterprise life cycle processes, requirements translation, technical implementation, technical design, source code evaluation and quality assurance.
Responsible for all elements of information assurance and security including implementation of NIST compliance and NIST 800-53 and 800-63 controls.
Translate business requirements to technical requirements and detailed design.
Evaluate software components to determine how they meet business and technical requirements.
Work with relevant government stakeholders and business process owners to complete the Project Life Cycle documentation required for Milestone progress assessment and exit reviews.
Develop user and technical documentation to support the software development life cycle processes including but not limited to Business System Architecture Definition, System Deployment Plans, Project Transition Plans, Interface definitions.
Responsible for identifying risks and issues related to the assigned responsibilities. Develop risk mitigation approaches working with government stakeholders, business process and technical owners. Escalate issues/risks to programme management as appropriate.
Assist in the development of the business case and the business impact analysis. Ensure that risks associated with the business case are identified, assessed and controlled.
Organize and lead discussions with business process owners to ensure ongoing availability of SME resources as well as their contribution to the development and review of the assigned project artifacts.
Prepare presentations; reports and other artifacts to help communicate the projects concept, definition and status to diverse set of stakeholders.
Provide advice and guidance to the Project Manager and recommend program modifications to improve the project execution.
Act as a mentor for the junior members of the project team.
Execute any other project related duties that may be assigned to the senior consultant from time to time.
Experience:
At-least 10+ years of experience gained in complex large commercial or government organizations.
Hands on experience of technical design, architecture development and software development.
Significant role in implementation of Cybersecurity or information assurance projects.
