  • May 2013 – TISTA is awarded a Prime contract with the United States Air Force. In response to Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 8520.02 PKI and Public Key Enabling, USCYBERCOM Task Order J3-12-0863 SIPR PKI Implementation, and AFCENT Network Operations Service Center requested Air Force (AF) Form 3215 Upgrades to TTC, the 609 Air Communication Squadron (ACOMS) is requesting the implementation of Program Temporary Fix 8 (PTF-8) or latest approved Defense Information Assurance (IA)/Security Accreditation Working Group (DSAWG) version. Under this Prime contract, the TISTA team will be providing services to upgrade the current AFCENT TTC network/associated infrastructure from 1.3.4 PTF4 to PTF-8 or to the latest approved DSAWG version at multiple locations (CONUS and OCONUS). This is USCENTCOM’s (which included AFCENT, USSOCOM etc) cross domain solution at the highest level to work with: National Security Agency (NSA), Cross Domain Solution Assessment Panel (CDSAP), Cross Domain Solution Technical Advisory Board (CDTAB), DSAWG, Unified Cross Domain Management Office (UCDMO); Coordinate with Combatant Command (COCOM), and Cross Domain Support Office (CDSO) Rep; and the units in the Middle East.
  • April 2013 – TISTA has been awarded a multi-year Prime contract with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). In this Cybersecurity contract, TISTA will be providing Information Assurance (IA) and Security Operations support for Enterprise Projects such as DOE, DME, OCS, TMT and DEIS. TISTA’s support will focus on the security functions in the software development lifecycle (SDL-C), from requirements, architecture, design, coding, deployment, and withdrawal from service. The TISTA security experts will be recommending to the Enterprise Information Assurance Managers (IAMs) the best approach for IA Governance and Security Integration within the Enterprise Lifecycle.
  • April 2013 – TISTA has been named a finalist for the 2013 SECAF Government Contractor of the Year: $12M to $25M in revenues. The SECAF Government Contractor of the Year awards recognize Washington, D.C headquartered companies that have shown a commitment to excellence in the previous year.
  • April 2013 – TISTA was named a finalist for the 2013 Tech Counsel of Maryland Awards in the Executive of the Year Category. TISTA’s President, Ahmed Ali, was given this honor for his contributions to the tech community and the state of Maryland as a whole.
  • February 2013 – DiversityBusiness.com placed TISTA on its “Top Business” list for 2013. This selection was based on TISTA’s annual gross revenue and corporate profile.
  • December 2012 – TISTA Science & Technology is awarded a Prime contract with the National Guard Bureau providing organizational assessments using Information Technology based methods, procedures and models, cost analysis, special projects/studies, information technology support, facilitation, administration, logistics, consulting, and training support services. TISTA employees will also record, track, coordinate, manage, retrieve, and promulgate data from several different divisions. The work effort is to provide the support required to achieve the desired degree of responsiveness essential to accommodate workload demands. Requirements include providing critical and essential operational support for Strategic Readiness, liaison between the States/territories and the Army National Guard Directorate, and promote organizational improvements, policy, procedures and continuous learning.
  • November 2012 – The Governor’s office of the State of Maryland has recognized TISTA Science and Technology Corporation for contributing to the continued growth of Maryland’s economy. With being awarded this Governor’s Citation, TISTA has been recognized as a vibrant and vital member of the small business community in Maryland.
  • October 2012 – Prince George’s County, Maryland has awarded TISTA Science and Technology Corporation a Prime contract to provide professional services for a Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution. This is the very first task order that has been awarded by the County under Consulting and Technical Services (CATS). For this task order, TISTA will deliver consulting and implementation services for an enterprise-wide Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution at the County. As part of the first phase of this project, TISTA will work with the County to gather and document data requirements from selected agencies, create a data dictionary for the proposed warehouse solution, and document requirements for dashboards and reports.
  • September 2012 – TISTA Science and Technology is awarded a multi-year, several million dollar Prime contract with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Safety & Inspection Service (FSIS), to provide Certification and Accreditation (C&A) compliance needs. The TISTA Team (including Ernst & Young) will work closely with the Information System Security Program (ISSP) to make improvements in key areas such as FISMA compliance, implementing an effective performance management program that closely ties with FSIS and OCIO technical objectives, and educating FSIS emplyees on the importance of C&A and its relationship with daily FSIS work.
  • August 2012 – TISTA Science and Technology is awarded a multi-year, several million dollar Prime contract with the IRS, to provide contractor support to the IRS Office of Cybersecurity Architecture and Implementation for its enterprise mission. Under this contract, TISTA staff will provide program and project management expertise to provide end-to-end technical and business integration solutions to guide and direct the various project team activities.
  • August 2012 – TISTA Science and Technology is awarded a multi-year, several million dollar Prime contract with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), to provided contractor support to the eAuthentication project office for its enterprise mission. The work includes mitigation of risks of IT system security through analysis of controls and planning to leverage remediation plans throughout the enterprise, in addition to the implementation of new or updated IT security initiatives.

  • August 2012 – TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is awarded a Prime Contract with the Department of Treasury, to provide the Internal Revenue Service NetAPP Professional Services for the Departmental Offices Infrastructure Operations. TISTA personnel will be performing various technical tasks under this contract at the direction of Treasury staff, such as reviewing the DO/OCIO environment including WAN capabilities, reviewing NetApp storage configurations, and implementing recommendations.
  • July 2012 – TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is awarded a multi-year Prime Contract with the Army National Guard (ARNG), National Guard Bureau (NGB), for contracted Management Support Services. TISTA will support the operational contracting branch that acquires the goods and services needed to meet the mission of the Army Aviation Division. TISTA will also be providing contract support for the NGB-AQ that interfaces with numberous senior level federal government agencies, service, agencies, and state government agencies. In addition, TISTA will be providing efforts to indirectly support the acquisition requirements of NGB-AQ.
  • July 2012 – TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is awarded a $10.2M Prime contract with The U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM), HR Tools and Technology (HRTT), located in Macon, Georgia. HRTT is an information technology systems design, development, and operations center. HRTT provides support for a variety of human resources management systems that serve customers in OPM, other Federal agencies, and State and local agencis and their constituents across the U.S. and globally. Under this Blanket Purchase Agreement, TISTA will be providing OPM with IT systems records management, customer assistance, and production operations support services.
  • July 2012 – TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is awarded the Chief Information Officers Solutions and Partners III (CIO-SP3) contract with the National Institutes of Health, in the Small Business track, as a Prime contract holder. The CIO-SP3 is a $20 billion ceiling IT Services and Solutions IDIQ support contract for over 10 years. TISTA will have the opportunity to support NIH in various technology areas including: IT Services for Biomedical Research and Healthcare, CIO Support, IT Operations and Maintenance, Integration Services, and Critical Infrastructure Protection and Information Assurance.

  • June 2012 – TISTA Science and Technology Corporation, has been successfully appraised at Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 2 for the Development Maturity Level 2 (CMMI-DEV v1.3) and Services Maturity Level 2 (CMMI-SVC v1.3) through a Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) in June 2012. CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements for effective processes that ultimately improves an organizations performance. CMMI can be used to guide process improvement across a project, a division, or an entire organization. CMMI also helps integrate organizational functions, set process improvement goals and priorities, provides guidance for quality processes, and provide a point of reference for appraising current processes.

  • June 2012 – TISTA Science and Technology Corporation has been awarded the SPAWARS PILLARS Contract, as a Prime Contract holder. This indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based, multiple award contract will enable TISTA to provide command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance electronics and communications services and solutions in support of mission capabilities within the integrated cyber operations portfolio to deliver the capabilities to operate, secure and defend the network and data in support of the warfighter's mission. This contract will enable TISTA to provide various complex services and solutions in support of mission capabilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Military Sealift, Army, and other entities, and other activities and agencies as assigned or designated by the SPAWAR Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic. The cumulative value of this multiple award contract has an estimated combined value of $98,700,000.
  • June 2012 – TISTA is partnered with Veracode to provide application security testing services to US Government intelligence agencies. This partnership leverages Veracode’s world class automated application security testing platform and remediation services with TISTAs security program management and integration capabilities.
  • May 2012 – TISTA Science and Technology Corporation (along with Highrise Consulting, Team TISTA) is awarded a $23.4M prime contract for 5 years to provide IT Infrastructure Operational Support to the NIH's electronic Research Administration (eRA). For eRA, TISTA will provide information technology solutions in the development and maintenance of mission-critical systems which include: System Administration, Database Administration, Mid-Tier Administration, Operational & Network Security Administration, Architecture Support, Testing & Performance Support, Deployment Support, and Disaster Recovery & Continuity of Operations Support. eRA supports the Grants business process for over $30 Billion in research grants awarded annually by NIH and other grantor agencies to include: the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ); Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); Food and Drug Administration (FDA); the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA); and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).

  • May 2012 – TISTA Science and Technology Corporation, teamed with Digital Intelligence Systems Corporation (DISYS), is awarded a several million dollar multi-year IT Service Desk and End-user Support Services contract in support of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA). Under the project, the DISYS-TISTA Team will furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to provide professional and high quality end-user Information Technology support services to include service desk operations and workstation support services, to include the installation, operation and maintenance of IT user desktop hardware and software.

  • March 2012 - TISTA is awarded a several million dollar multi-year contract the Army National Guard, ‘The Army National Guard Training Division, Individual Training Branch (ARNG-TRI)’. TISTA will be providing the ARNG-TRI a wide range of analytical, strategic planning and programming capabilities that support the Branch in carrying out its responsibilities to achieve soldier readiness. TISTA’s focus on this contract will include conducting planning, developmental and budgeting activities, and executing and managing strategies, programs, and resources. The successful delivery of these services by TISTA will provide the training and resource management support needed to manage the ARNG programs for Duty Military Occupational Specialty (DMOSQ), Warfight Critical Functional and Professional Development based on current wartime and future peacetime operations.

  • March 2012 - TISTA is awarded a multi-year ($6M+) ‘Marine Corps Logistics Command Information Technology (IT) C4 Support’ Prime Contract in support of Information Technology support services to both local and external customers at Headquarters Marine Corps Logistics Command, Command, Control, Communications and Computers (HQ MARCORLOGCOM, C4), Enterprise Support Division (ESD) and Software Support Division (SSD). TISTA personnel will be providing IT database management, applications management, web and OS support, RAC management, mainframe support, enterprise backup and recovery, and system architecture support; and providing application software support (analytical, testing and programming) on this IT C4 support contract.
  • February 2012 - TISTA is awarded a multi-year ($4M) ceiling contract with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), within the office of Cybersecurity Policy and Programs. TISTA will be supporting a critical IRS Cyber project, implementing a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) system along with coordinated processes and workflows to protect sensitive agency information including taxpayer records. The DLP program will be implemented in separate releases to address Data-In-Motion (DIM), Data-At-Rest (DAR) and Data-In-Use (DIU). This initiative supports OMB Mandate 06-16, Treasury Mandates and Trusted Internet Compliance requirements. Additionally, the implementation of DLP will prevent disclosure or breach of Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) data, including Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • January 2012 - TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is awarded a Prime, multi-year contract with the U.S. Army, National Guard Bureau (NGB). TISTA will be the lead for the NGB on contract support for the development and provision of advice and comments on military support policies, regulations, and plans; definition of techniques and procedures for military support; development of security plans, communications, and/or IT and other specialized acquisition plans; and provision of other general mission support. TISTA will also provide an advisor to the Army National Guard’s Director with the responsibility for handling a wide range of highly sensitive and confidential issues of an ongoing nature and special assignments of significant interest and concern.
  • January 2012 - TISTA Science and Technology Corporation and Ernst & Young enters into a Mentor-Protégé program at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. This approved agency agreement will enable both E&Y and the agency to provide strategic assistance to enhance the capabilities of TISTA within the Treasury Department.
  • December 2011 - TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is part of the CACI team that won the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC), Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER) IT Services BPA. As a sub to CACI, TISTA will be providing a full range of IT services, technical and management expertise, and solution-related enabling products. The VLER Initiative Programs purpose is to support the agency's mission and efforts to promote quality healthcare for our veterans and their eligible dependents. The Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) maintains the largest archive of personnel, manpower, training, and financial data in the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • November 2011 - TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is awarded a multi-year Prime contract with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Enterprise Services Office, Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) and Process Management Office (ELCPMO) within the Modernization and Information Technology Services (MITS). Under this effort, TISTA will support the Enterprise Life Cycle and Process Management Office’s (ELCPMO) efforts in project development, developing the IRS's key information technology projects and project support, directly supporting key projects outlined in the Business Systems Modernization Expenditure Plan.
  • October 2011 - TISTA Science and Technology Corporation wins a Prime Contract with The Army National Guard-Strength Maintenance Division (ARNG-GSS). Under this Prime Contract, TISTA provides improvement recommendations, organizational development assessments, professional, administrative, and technical services in support of ARNG initiatives and assigned missions. TISTA is directly supporting the goals of the recruiting and retention branches of the Army National Guard, while providing excellent leadership, management, and supervision of all personnel. The performance of this contract is throughout the 54 States and Territories based on operational demand.
  • September 2011 - TISTA, as part of Team Pathfinder (Pathfinder Consultants LLC), has been selected as one of the awardees of the Tactical Program Management Support Services (TPMSS) IDIQ contract at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Under this IDIQ contract, TISTA will provide Veterans Benefit Administration (VBA) organizations project management support and business analysis services.

  • August 2011 - TISTA is awarded a Prime Contract with the The Army National Guard (ARNG), in support of various requirements for contracted Management Support Services to support the operational contracting branch that acquires the goods and services needed to meet the mission of the Army Aviation Division.
  • July 2011 - TISTA was awarded a commercial project by a Maryland based construction company to provide Professional Engineering & Advisory Services in support of various development efforts in the DC Metro region.
  • July 2011 - TISTA was selected for award by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFast) IDIQ Contract as a Prime Contractor. The combined total ceiling amount for all MOAs under eFAST is $2 billion for a 5 year base period.

  • June 2011 - In support of U.S. Strategic Readiness, the Army National Guard Bureau has awarded TISTA a two year multimillion dollar prime contract to provide performance improvement recommendations, organizational development assessments, and professional, administrative, and technical services. Supporting the Chief of Staff’s initiatives, TISTA personnel will act to optimize the efficiency, the effectiveness, and the economy of key business processes and systems of the Army National Guard in order to improve productivity and organizational effectiveness. Providing performance management, organizational development and transformation, TISTA employees will act as liaison between the States/territories and the Army National Guard Directorate, as well as promote organizational improvements, policy, procedures, and continuous learning.
  • June 2011 - TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is one of four Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) that have been chosen by Dell to install 600,000 PC’s and monitors at more than 1,200 VA sites nationwide under Dell’s four-year, $476 million contract with Veterans Affairs. Under this new award, TISTA will provide deployment services and support to VA and assist the department as it continues to transform its end-user computing environment to improve access, manageability and security. Using Dell’s latest technology, the new solutions also will improve flexibility and mobility among VA employees, and enable the organization to more quickly transition to efficient solutions such as desktop virtualization.
